THE PROJECT
Future Friendly Africa is a transnational project of cooperation and transfer of capacities and know-how for the development of innovative results in the field of youth entrepreneurship and quality training of young people. The project focuses on disadvantaged young people. In this way, we improve social inclusion and the well-being of young people in Africa. We contributed to the capacity building of a team of young people and women for the support of young people and associations through technologies based on ICT.
The objectives of the project:
- Improve the quality of work with young people in the partner organization optimize and document the work with young people at the local level Improve the existing system of the partner organization in the employability of young people after training but also of young people who have not had the chance to be trained.
- Creation and implementation of a non-formal education and skills training program for the personal development of young people and certain local businesses that are partners of the organization in the fields of environmental entrepreneurship. Share good quality practices through the implementation of European standards to contribute to the high quality training of youth leaders but also to the production of local businesses targeted by the project
- This project will allow us to acquire software that will serve as an incubator for young people from the training, design and implementation of their projects and in the upgrading of businesses through the transfer of technology and skills that will be put daunt the whole project.
- This project will allow the beneficiary organization to have a high-performance technical device to provide distance education for the young people and women targeted by the project, following other young people in the sub-region.
In this project, the innovative elements are:
• Transfer of European experience and capacities in the management of youth activities through innovative software and organizational development following the latest developments in the field of business and youth work.
Development of the practice and development of the organization to maintain the program at a high level of training in the future;
• Combine and create modern training material based on research, following an innovative work methodology proven by awards for good practice and thousands of highly qualified professionals and young people;
• Implementation of innovative software to work with the program in work poles with young people at local level, combined with practical work. The software allows fast and high quality access to a database, the creation of a portfolio of completed trainings for young people and the monitoring of mentoring by youth workers;
• Mobility and exchange of experiences in a real environment in Europe, meeting with young people, eco-entrepreneurs, organic farmers, processors and others. Visits to youth centers will deepen and develop the skills of participants.
• Reach out to disadvantaged and marginalized youth who do not have access to the labor market, education or training.
Specific objective of the project
Allow the partner organization to have staff more trained in the work of coaching young people but also to support certain local companies to be more preforming.
Allow the partner organization to acquire management software for its support program for the integration of young people at the national and sub-regional level, but also by means of distance education
